Swanky Ankles

So winter is pretty much here and recently i have been revamping my wardrobe so that  have less trend following clothes but more staple pieces.
I really want to get a pair of nice black ankle boots (real leather of course) so that they will last me a long time and never go out of fashion. I've started my search at Topshop and have picked these three shown above as my possible favourites.
What do you think?
I love the simplicity of them all and they are perfect as i know they will go with pretty much anything i wear.

Nuclear Season

Hat: Urban Outfitters
Bracelet: Swarovski
Jumper: Vintage
Jeans: Topshop (Jamie)

Im not a big fan of the January sales so i don't normally buy anything i them, but whilst shopping with my mum i noticed something glittering in one of the glass cabinets in Swarovski. At a bargain of only £33 from £56 it was the most beautiful and simple bracelet i've ever seen. Its lightweight and subtle and perfect to wear just about anywhere. You cant really see it very well but its a clear/lilac colour. I also needed a hat to cover up my bad hair days and to throw on when its cold so i found a white/grey one in Urban Outfitters with multi-coloured stitching all over (in the mens section) that was perfect and also a bargain at only £9!! Over all a good little go at the Jan sales!

You And I

Jumper: TKMaxx
Shirt: Topman
Bracelet: Lilyloveslola
Top: All Saints

I did a bit of shopping and found this gorgeous brown/grey jumper from TKMaxx. i chose to wear it over the Topman shirt i wore on boxing day as i liked the contrast in colors and patterns. I was so happy when the cross bracelet came back into stock at Lilyloveslola, so i bought one straight away! Its so simple and cute that it goes with absolutely anything. I also came across this drape jersey top in All Saints and couldn't put it back! This again is beautiful because of its ability to be simple yet interesting at the same time.

DIY: Russian Style Fur Headband

Recently i have been a bad blogger! I havent posted anything in a while so here, have a wintery DIY :)

I loved the Russian looking headbands and hats from Topshop/Dorothy Perkins but found them quite expensive so i decided to make one of my own.
Topshop Grey Lux Fur Cossack £22
Brown Fur Headband Dorothy Perkins £10

I took a piece of fur that i found in a charity shop for 25p
I then took the elastic off of an old headband
I sewed it into the end of the fur making sure that when the elastic was pulled it didnt come off.
My headband was complete! Hope you like it :)
