Re-so: new store opening!!

So I am very excited about the new opening of the store opening in Southampton by Southampton Solent University.
They will be stocking my vintage clothing brand 'Lemonade' and also a range of other exciting products made by Solent Uni students and graduates. Only 2 days left until the opening so if you are near or in Southampton, come down and check it out!!
Thursday is the press day mostly so I will put up some pictures on here from that also.

i recently invested in a Boy London tee and i can honestly say it was one of the best purchases i have ever made. i would wear this top everyday if i could but i stop myself. looks like im going to have to buy another one!
i also went to London recently and fell in love with the large vintage store Rokit. i found this amazing lilac lace top for a bargain of £8.

Southampton Solent University Graduate Fashion Show 2012

the Southampton Solent University do a graduate fashion show every year. this show was the smaller charity show with clothes shown by small businesses in the local area. the clothes were beautiful and the room laden in flower arrangements and canopes just oozed fashion. the goodie bags on our vip tables were filled with Giles Deacon eyelashes, nail wraps and nail varnish! it was a very good event and i wish all the graduates the best of luck in the future.

as you should all know by now, i love a good quality, structured shirt, and the new collection for F/W 2012 by Equipment really caught my eye.
with the bold prints and good use of colours, the shirts are the perfect blend of femininity and class. i particularly like the print detail on the collar and down the middle of the first shirt as it can be worn casually because of the plain nude colour, and smart because of the sophisticated pattern placement. 
at an average price of £250 these dont come cheap but at least you know you will be wearing good quality as you get what you pay for these days.

finally. finally i decided to invest in some Jeffrey Campbell shoes. 
everyone has the 'Lita' boot, but i felt like i didnt want the same shoes as everyone else and preferred the 'Tardy' boot anyway.
these will definitely be worn a lot and they are so very comfy.

it was a relatively warm day yesterday but the sun was out so decided to pair my plain black glasses with a bright red jumper
also played around with the shutter speed on my SLR and to my surprise the images look pretty cool
