Black is my favourite colour so i couldnt resist the soft touch and twinkling studs of these amazing loafers as i spotted them on a shelf, walking out of what i thought had been an unsuccessful visit to Zara. As soon as they were on my feet i knew i had to have them. At £60 they weren't cheap, but they were definitely worth it. Leather shoes last a life time and even though studs could possibly go out of fashion, the style of shoe will not. 
The bag, also from Zara is not Leather, but has lasted me well so far! It's just the right size to fit the essentials in and anything else i need for uni can be placed in a white 'Toast' canvas tote bag i throw on my shoulder. 
The mint jeans were a present from my mum. I love the subtle hint of green, they are not too bright but visibly have a colour to them.

Hair Style: The Donut Bun

I have discovered the 'donut' bun. At first i thought it might be a bit neat for me, as i love just shoving my hair up into a messy bun, but then i realised that sometimes its nicer to have neater hair.
Its really quick and easy to do and looks sophisticated yet slightly casual at the same time.
I definitely recommend giving it a go!

i recently invested in a Boy London tee and i can honestly say it was one of the best purchases i have ever made. i would wear this top everyday if i could but i stop myself. looks like im going to have to buy another one!
i also went to London recently and fell in love with the large vintage store Rokit. i found this amazing lilac lace top for a bargain of £8.

the sun decided to shine for a while today so i took advantage and wore a tee with cut off arms. i love the effect becky used in the top photo as it looks so pretty and summery.

i dont often wear colour, especially not bright colours, so when i do i prefer to wear it in small doses and tone it down with black, white or blue. these shorts are brighter than i would normally wear (being almost neon) but with a black top, some black sandals and bag, and these retro sunnies from h&m, i think they could work well.

so i had my first shoot with my new photographer today and as you can see, she is practically genius. we also shot for the new range of lemonade stock. 
the authentic look of the cracks in the door compliment the vintage look of the outfit so this was the perfect spot. in the annoying april showers, the hat and vest top were needed!

so i went to the caribbean for two weeks. it was such a nice holiday and a well needed break from everyday life. i got these shorts in the beneton shop out there and put them on straight away. they are so comfy and fit in with the neon trend im slowly falling in love with. 
p.s how amazing does this chiller look?! pralines and cream coffee chiller from a 'starbucks' like cafe. that was lunch. haha!

so the sun keeps showing its face but never really coming out to play, so i am forced to still wear warm (ish) shoes but the good thing is i can make myself feel more summery with a sweet fragrance and my vintage sunnies.

finally. finally i decided to invest in some Jeffrey Campbell shoes. 
everyone has the 'Lita' boot, but i felt like i didnt want the same shoes as everyone else and preferred the 'Tardy' boot anyway.
these will definitely be worn a lot and they are so very comfy.

it was a relatively warm day yesterday but the sun was out so decided to pair my plain black glasses with a bright red jumper
